Saudi clubs in the Pro League are reportedly targeting Kevin De Bruyne, with plans to invest £2 billion in talent this summer. Despite being 32 years old, the Belgian midfielder shows no signs of slowing down, continuing to contribute to successful seasons at Manchester City. De Bruyne has played a key role in City’s title wins, with Pep Guardiola relying heavily on him throughout the season.
With just 12 months left on his contract, there is speculation about De Bruyne’s future at City. While there is an expectation that he will renew his contract, clubs in Saudi Arabia may try their luck if an agreement is not reached. During his nine years at City, De Bruyne has been a pivotal player, scoring 102 goals and registering 168 assists in 377 games in all competitions. Despite interest from Saudi clubs, it is believed that De Bruyne will likely stay and extend his contract at City.
