Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola sends a warning to Man United as he prepares his side for the Emirate FA Cup final against the Red Devils at Wembley Stadium for the second consecutive time.
“To be here as Manchester City manager – with a chance to make the Final of this incredible competition once again – really is something very beautiful for me, my players and my staff. I love being at Wembley,” Pep said during the official matchday programme.
They, however, managed to get the job done and Pep Guardiola was happy with the result and the determination of his players to make the final even though it was difficult.
The elated City manager added, “I won two Champions League titles here with Barcelona – once as a player under the old Twin Towers back in 1992 when we defeated Sampdoria, and once as a manager in 2011 when we beat Manchester United.”
Pep Guardiola Preparing For Another Wembley Showdown Against Manchester United
The Cityzens are unbeaten in their previous three matches against the Red Devils and are gearing up for another Manchester Derby. Man City won 2-1 the last time both teams met at Wembley Stadium, securing the FA Cup trophy in a successful treble-winning season.
“With City I have been here many, many times. I can say honestly it is always special to me and those memories will never, ever fade,” the tactician said.
