Gary Lineker believes that Manchester City has a player who could potentially be inducted into the Premier League Hall of Fame in the future. While City has several deserving players, Gary Neville specifically points to Kyle Walker as the best right-back in Premier League history. Other players like John Terry, Thierry Henry, and Ashley Cole have already been inducted for being standout performers in their respective positions.
In Lineker’s opinion, Kevin De Bruyne should be a future inductee into the Premier League Hall of Fame. De Bruyne has been consistent and has set a high standard in the league since his arrival. Despite other standout players like Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane, De Bruyne’s performances, quality, consistency, longevity, and trophies won make him a worthy candidate for the prestigious list of legends.
Both Lineker and Arsene Wenger have spoken highly of De Bruyne, with Wenger mentioning that De Bruyne is “ready” to be included in the Hall of Fame. Roy Keane also considers De Bruyne as one of the greatest Premier League players of all time. Overall, De Bruyne’s contributions to the league make him a strong contender for induction in the Hall of Fame over other players in his generation.
