A recent report has highlighted the uncertain futures of three Manchester City players, one of whom was recently acquired by the club.

The Premier League champions signed River Plate talent Claudio Echeverri during the winter transfer market, with the player remaining on loan in Argentina until January 2025.

However, Manchester City fans may have to wait longer before seeing Echeverri in Pep Guardiola’s squad, as there are rumors of a potential move to another City Football Group club.

This move is subject to UEFA rulings on player transfers between clubs in the same competition, with Girona possibly qualifying for a European tournament this season.

According to South American outlet Olé and Sport Witness, UEFA regulations have created uncertainty around Echeverri’s future, with a possible loan move to Girona in the winter market of 2025.

If both Manchester City and Girona qualify for the UEFA Champions League in 2024/25, Echeverri may not be allowed to move from the English club to the Spanish side.

Manchester City also faces decisions regarding Brazilian talents Savio and Yan Couto, with potential moves and loan deals in the pipeline.

Savio has been agreed to join Manchester City from ESTAC Troyes, with a possible loan return to Girona depending on regulations.

Yan Couto, following a successful season in Spain, will be evaluated during pre-season for his future with Manchester City.

Manchester City will embark on a four-game tour of the United States this summer, facing Celtic, Barcelona, Chelsea, and AC Milan in various locations including Orlando and New York.
