Manchester City’s Ruben Dias has revealed his latest bold hair transformation while on international duty with Portugal this week.
16 members of Pep Guardiola’s first-team squad have travelled with their respective national teams for the last time this season, as they aim to secure a spot in their countries’ European Championship squads for the summer.
The final international break of the 2023/24 campaign comes at a perfect time for Manchester City, providing the players and staff with a chance to reset mentally ahead of a busy April fixture list.
However, it’s not just mentally that players have been resetting this week. One of Pep Guardiola’s defensive options has opted for a new hairstyle, sporting a buzzcut in training.
After experimenting with different looks throughout the season, Ruben Dias has now gone for the buzzcut as he prepares to represent Portugal in their upcoming international matches.
Portugal is set to play two international friendlies, facing Sweden at home before traveling to Slovenia for their second match within a week.
Pep Guardiola has three Manchester City players in the Portugal squad, with Ruben Dias and Bernardo Silva featuring regularly and Matheus Nunes looking to secure a spot in the starting line-up.
Manchester City’s players will then return to the City Football Academy to prepare for the Premier League clash with Arsenal at the end of the month.
