Kyle Walker says Man City’s squad have come up with a new nickname for Phil Foden

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker recently revealed the nickname that the players have given to their teammate Phil Foden. The team’s outstanding performance continued as they extended their unbeaten streak to 19 games with a 3-1 victory over Manchester United.

“He’s been shooting since I turned up in 2017, he loves a shot but listen he practises.

“He puts in the work, he’s always doing extra shooting and maybe sometimes you need that…

“I won’t call it luck because you create your own luck, but his goals are coming in, he’s reaping the rewards and he needs to keep those standards up.”

Foden’s exceptional performance this season has been remarkable, with 28 goal contributions, including 18 goals and 10 assists. Many believe that he is having the best season of his career, surpassing his previous best tally of 26 goals.
