Nathan Ake has expressed his admiration for Kevin De Bruyne and his outstanding performance for Manchester City following his return from injury.
De Bruyne has made a significant impact in his last three appearances in the Premier League with one goal and three assists.
Particularly impressive are his assists, such as the lofted ball to set up Oscar Bobb’s winner against Newcastle, the intricate through ball for Julian Alvarez’s goal against Burnley, and an inch-perfect cross for Phil Foden to head home against Brentford. These assists have showcased the range of passes De Bruyne has at his disposal.
Despite starting only two games out of his last four appearances, the five-time Premier League winner has made a remarkable impact.
Ake commended De Bruyne for his creativity and the significant role he plays for Manchester City, describing his recent performances as incredible.
“It’s very important, they are both massive, massive players for us. To see the creativity Kevin [De Bruyne] brings in the last few games he’s played already is incredible. And Erling [Haaland], you know the presence he brings, goals as well”, he said [via London Evening Standard].
De Bruyne’s remarkable form reminds fans of his outstanding performance during the 2021/2022 season. If he can replicate that form during the title race, it may favor Manchester City, making them strong contenders for the league crown.
Nathan Ake praises De Bruyne for his impact in the team, acknowledging the quality De Bruyne brings to the squad. Ake’s recognition of De Bruyne’s performance suggests that Manchester City has a player who has been exceptional recently, with the potential to turn the tables in their favor.
This acknowledgment amplifies the significance of De Bruyne’s contribution to the team and highlights his role in Manchester City’s success.
