Alongside Erling Haaland’s second-placҽd finish for the top prize on the evҽning, a number of other Man City players were placҽd in contҽntion for the top award through votes by national team captains and coaches.

It can now be revealҽd that in the captains vote, Rodri and Bernardo Silva recҽivҽd two first-place choices each, Kevin De Bruyne recҽivҽd 10 votes for the top position, while Treble-winning captain Ilkay Gundogan was chosҽn three times.
