Manchester City fans have been reacting to the news that Simon Hooper will be the referee in Sunday’s crucial top-of-the-table clash at the Etihad.
Pep Guardiola‘s side will be aiming to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they welcome Tottenham Hotspur to the Etihad Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The Citizens made it five victories from five Champions League group-stage matches on Tuesday, coming from 2-0 behind to record a 3-2 success over RB Leipzig.
The Premier League champions have drawn their last two league matches against Chelsea and Liverpool, though, with the results seeing them drop off the top of the table, currently sitting second, one point behind leaders Arsenal.
Ahead of Sunday afternoon’s crucial top-of-the-table clash at the Etihad, the Premier League have confirmed the Match Officials for the meeting between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
