Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Kalvin Phillips has said ‘yes’ to Juventus and would like to join the Serie A side.
The midfielder hardly played in Manchester City’s treble-winning season last year and is having a similar campaign this term too.
He has made just four Premier League appearances, all coming from the bench with another three substitute appearances in the Champions League.
The midfielder had options to leave in the summer but decided against moving from Manchester City.
The 27-year-old might need to leave the Premier League champions in order to play regular first-team football and clubs like Juventus, Newcastle and Real Madrid are keeping tabs on him.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus have received a ‘double yes’ from both the Premier League champions and the player himself for a loan.
This all happened this week, as Juventus directors Cristiano Giuntoli and Giovanni Manna were in London for various business, including a chat with CAA Stellar, who manage the Manchester City midfielder.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
