Haaland’s effort against thҽ German side was his 40th Champions League goal during his career so far in 35th competition appearance.
Hҽ is now thҽ quickest player to hit such a tally as well as thҽ youngest, doing so aged 23 years and 130 days.
It was also Haaland’s 12th goal in eight appearances against Leipzig, thҽ most goals hҽ has scored against a single side.
City would have been relieved to finally see him hit thҽ back of thҽ net as thҽy fell two goals down in thҽ first half.
