Manchester City are looking to bounce back this weekend after defeat to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup third round
Pep Guardiola’s side suffered their first defeat since the Community Shield on Wednesday night when they lost 1-0 to Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup third round. After having the best of the first half, City were caught cold in the second and were punished in the 53rd minute as Alexander Isak smashed home the only goal of the game to send Eddie Howe’s men through.
As disappointing as the result may have been, City have no time to dwell with another fixture on the horizon this Saturday.
Ahead of the clash in the West Midlands, MEN Sport has taken a look at the injury news coming from City’s camp.
