Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are interested in signing Atlético Madrid’s Nahuel Molina in the summer.
The Argentina international has ‘undergone an incredible change’ since he returned from the World Cup and his fine form has not gone unnoticed.
According to Fichajes.net as relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City have been closely following the right-back in action for the La Liga side.
The report claims Pep Guardiola wants his side to bolster his side’s defence in the summer and sees the 25-year-old as an ‘ideal option’ to provide competition for the right-back position.
Nahuel Molina is valued at €23m but Atlético wouldn’t be willing to let him leave for an amount less than €60m. As per the report, Manchester City would have ‘no problem to pay’ what Atlético are demanding for right-back.
The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.
Lets BUY HIM CITY PLS 💙🩵💙🙏
