Manchester City are reportedly interested in signing 25-year-old French international Theo Hernandez from AC Milan.
The 25-year-old has been exceptional for AC Milan since joining the club, and he could prove to be a quality addition to Pep Guardiola’s defence. The player was linked with a move to Manchester City in the past as well. But he decided to continue at the Italian club and signed a new deal with them.
It seems that Pep Guardiola has not given up on the Frenchman yet, and it will be interesting to see if Manchester City decide to come forward with a concrete offer at the end of the season.
According to a report from Calciomercato, Manchester City are keen on signing 25-year-old French international left-back at the end of the season.
It is no secret that Manchester City need to sign a quality left-back despite signing Sergio Gomez in the summer. And Hernandez would be a sensational acquisition for them. The French international is at the peak of his powers right now and could make an immediate impact at the Premier League club.
Hernandez has established himself as a key player for club and country, and he is certainly one of the most accomplished left-backs around Europe right now. He was a key player for AC Milan when they won the Scudetto last season. The 25-year-old has been a pivotal figure for France at the 2022 FIFA World Cup as well.
Elsewhere, Manchester City have reportedly added yet another exciting English youngster to their academy set-up.
City are renowned as a forward thinking club, and they appear keen to live up to that reputation. Multiple reports from the likes of Fabrizio Romano and the Sheffield Star claim that City have reached an agreement to sign under-15 talent Kylan Midwood from Sheffield United.
The talented youngster is the latest exciting prospect to come out of the academy of a club that produced City defender Kyle Walker and his England teammate Harry Maguire.
The Blues have reportedly beaten the likes of Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea and Leeds to the player’s signature, further evidence of just how highly the City Football Academy is regarded as a destination for the best young players around.
