‘What a joke’, ‘nonsense’ – Some Man City fans react as report claims star ace is ‘devastated’ & fears Pep Guardiola doesn’t want him

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Jack Grealish is struggling to come to terms with his second-string status at the Etihad and fears Pep Guardiola is willing to sell him next year.

So often the go to individual during his time at Aston Villa, the England star has struggled to transition from being a big fish in a small pond to simply a star among many others.

His £100m price tag, which was enforced by his release clause at Villa Park, brings with it continued pressure.

Grealish has started only six of the club’s 14 Premier League matches this season, while lining up in the starting XI for five of their six Champions League games.

His goal in the 3-0 win over Wolves is his only goal or assist from 1039 minutes in this campaign, which pales in comparison with the eyecatching scoring and creating statistics of the likes of Haaland, Foden and De Bruyne.

According to Football Insider, Grealish now fears Guardiola does not fully rate or trust him, and would happily sell him next summer, even in January, to bring in another superstar signing.

The report claims Grealish believes his dream move has turned sour despite the Premier League winner’s medal and the prospect of more trophies this season.

The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from some Man City supporters.
