‘Perfect signing’, ‘make it happen’ – Some Man City fans react as club consider £100m offer for AC Milan star

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report of the club’s interest in AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez.

With Kyle Walker beginning to struggle with injuries as he enters the latter stage of his career, Pep Guardiola may consider bringing in a new full-back.

Joao Cancelo has operated on the left-hand side of defence in recent years, but we could see the Portuguese international shifted to a more familiar right-back role if Manchester City manage to bring in an elite-level left-back.

According to a report from Calciomercatoweb, Manchester City are looking to sign Theo Hernandez at the end of the season.

Hernandez played a pivotal role in helping Milan win the Scudetto last season, so it’s unlikely that Milan will let him go on the cheap.

The report claims Pep Guardiola’s side could be ready to submit an offer of around £100m for the Frenchman at the end of the season.

While some fans are delighted to see Theo Hernandez come to the Etihad, others don’t especially not at £100m.
