Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Real Madrid are tracking Julian Alvarez with the idea of making a move for the forward at the next available opportunity.
The Argentine’s game time has mainly been restricted to substitute appearances this season but he did start the 1-0 win against Leicester City in Erling Haaland’s absence.
According to Fichajes, Real Madrid have set their sights on Manchester City forward Julian Alvarez over a potential future move after three non-EU sports opened up in their squad.
The report states that Real Madrid President Florentino Perez is keen on adding South American stars, particularly an attacker with versatile qualities.
Three non-EU spots have opened up in the Madrid squad as Eder Militao, Rodrygo and Vinicius Junior all recently obtained dual citizenship.
The report cites Los Blancos president Florentino Perez’s attraction to South American players as another reason for their interest.
The report shared on Twitter gathered a number of replies from a wide range of Man City supporters.

“I doubt this news he hasn’t proved himself at City, what makes you think that he will succeed at Madrid. Sure he’s a 2nd fiddle to Haaland but so he will be at Madrid. It’s better for him to stay at City than to move to Madrid.”
