‘Finally a pacy winger’, ‘Would be great if true’ – Many Man City Fans react to the Club’s interest in Georgian breakthrough star

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club officials are following Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia with ‘great attention’.

Kvaratskhelia has emerged as one of the brightest talents in Europe this season. The Napoli winger has played a pivotal role in a team that are unbeaten in all competitions since April.

Understandably, after impressing for Napoli in both Serie A and the Champions League, Kvaratskhelia is attracting interest from clubs around Europe.

According Journalist Daniele Longo via Calciomercato as translated by Sport Witness, the Georgian is ‘impressing everyone’ and both Manchester City and Liverpool are following him with ‘great attention’.

Selling one of their key players so soon after he joined the club wouldn’t make too much sense, and at the age of just 21, the Georgian international is only at the beginning of his career.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
