Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are convinced they will win the battle to sign Jude Bellingham next summer.

The 19-year-old in is the most wanted midfielder in the world at the moment, with every big club across the club more than interested in making him their next big money signing.

Bellingham has made a name for himself in Germany, and a move to a bigger club in England or Spain seems destined to happen in the near future for the player.

All the top clubs have an interest in Bellingham. As per The Athletic, United, Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in Bellingham, while Real Madrid are also thought to have the Englishman on their radar.

According to the latest information from Sun Sport, Manchester City are convinced they will win what is sure to be a battle of the big guns to bring him to England.

As per the report, City are certainly best-placed to do that, as well as offering the best chance of silverware – and the opportunity to link up with his old Dortmund team-mate Erling Haaland.

The Sun have added that Dortmund will sell the 19-year-old England international midfielder for £83 million if they get the money in one go.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“I have no doubt we can get Jude, but the main question is whether he adds something major to the squad and takes us up another level, and is it worth buying him if he costs over 100m? I like Jude but if the rumours are true about his price then I dont think he’s a great choice.”

“Please avoid him. The usual English hype is about happening the second time. Let’s learn from the Grealish situation. He’s a good player but there’s no way he will worth the figure we’ll be quoted for.”
