The summer transfer window has finally closed and Manchester City were very busy, spending £125.5m on six players and selling 24 players for £188.8m.

Pep Guardiola has seen a major refresh of his four-time winning Premier League squad, with a host of arrivals and departures.

Manchester City’s biggest transfer this summer was the arrival of striker Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund in June.

The club shipped out a number of players, many of them academy and some of course mainstays, like Raheem Sterling, Oleks Zinchenko and Gabriel Jesus.

In the end, City claimed net spend superiority over many and really most of the clubs in the Premier League.

According to James Ducker of The Telegraph, Manchester City completed the biggest summer sale in Premier League history, with transfer earnings of almost £200M.

The report states that Man City have also had the most lucrative clear-out by a British club in a calendar year with £248M earned in 2022 and a net transfer profit of £125.9M.

With a series of arrivals, departures and loan moves, here is a comprehensive overview off all the business undertaken by Manchester City this summer.
