Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Barcelona are looking to sign midfielder Rodri as a replacement for Sergio Busquets, according to reports.
Busquets’s contract at Barcelona is expiring at the end of the season. At 34 years old, he is reaching the latter stages of his career, so Barcelona will need to find a long-term replacement for the midfielder.
According to Fichajes as relayed by Caught Offside, Barcelona are considering both Manchester City midfielder Rodri and Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich.
However, as per the report, convincing Manchester City to part ways with Rodri won’t be easy. and any deal would cost in excess of €100m.
