Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Paris Saint Germain are ‘seriously studying’ the possibility of signing Bernardo Silva this transfer window.
The Portuguese has been attracting interest from Spanish giants Barcelona this summer but it has been claimed that they need to offload Frenkie de Jong first before they can move for him.
And it appears Barcelona are set to face more competition for the 27-year-old’s signature as another European heavyweight have identified him as a potential target.
According to French magazine Le 10 Sport, PSG football advisor Luis Campos is seriously considering the possibility of bringing Silva to Paris.
As per the report, Luis Campos knows Silva from his time at Monaco and is ‘seriously studying’ the possibility of making a move for the Portugal international. He has made the Manchester City star his priority for the last weeks of the transfer window.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Why would he downgrade to PSG? Barcelona is the only threat, as he comes closer to his family. But I’m sick and tired of these rumours. Either leave or announce you love it at Man City and stay, like De Bruyne has done several times.”
