‘Reject it ASAP’, ‘They can’t even have Cole Palmer for that’ – Man City fans react as PSG submit ‘disrespectful’ bid for Bernardo Silva

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims PSG have submitted a €70M bid for Bernardo Silva.

The uncertainty over Silva’s future continues to not go away. This is despite City CEO Ferran Soriano having suggested that the Portuguese was going to be staying at the Etihad Stadium this summer.

Bernardo Silva has been rumoured with a move away from Manchester City throughout the summer with Barcelona strongly interested in the midfielder but now French giants PSG want him as well.

PSG have had a manager change this summer with Chris Galtier replacing Mauricio Pochettino and have managed to keep hold of star men Kylian Mbappe and Neymar, now they want to add Silva to the mix.

Even though we are just fews days away from the end of the ongoing summer transfer window, Barcelona as well as PSG have not given up their hopes of signing Bernardo Silva.

According to L’Equipe, PSG have gone a step further and lodged an opening bid of €70 million to try and sign Silva from the Premier League champions.

It does seem highly unlikely that City would let one of their most important players leave this late in the transfer window, with so little time left to sign a quality replacement for him.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
