‘Bernardo robbed’ – Man City Fans react to WhoScored’s Premier League Team of the Week

Manchester City fans have been reacting on social media to WhoScored.com’s Team of the Week for the Premier League’s recent weekend fixtures.

WhoScored’s official Twitter account recently posted the website’s premier league Team of the Week for the period of the 27th to the 28th of August.

The team included four Liverpool players with Erling Haaland the only Man City player to be included in team of the week after he played instrumental role in the dramatic comeback win.

Haaland scored a hat-trick again Crystal Palace in City’s recent weekend fixture, earning the Norwegian an overall rating of 8.35 for his performance.

Despite seeing Haaland recognised for his recent performances, Man City supporters felt that more of their players should have been included in WhoScored’s Team of the Week, with Bernardo Silva, in particular, receiving a mention from some fans.

Bernardo Silva, who have been included in Garth Crooks’ team of the week, also played an instrumental role in Manchester City’s dramatic comeback win.

Man City fans reacted in disbelief that their man of the match was given a lower rating and Bernardo Silva wasn’t included in the team.
