Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Chelsea have now reached a full agreement with Nathan Ake on personal terms.

Chelsea’s interest in Ake has been prevalent for quite some time now with the Blues wanting the Dutchman to reinforce their backline.

Report on Thursday night revealed that talks between the two relevant parties have reached an advanced stage.

According to the latest information of renowned transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea have now reached a full agreement with Nathan Aké on personal terms.

It is further claimed that Manchester City are aware of the situation on the player’s side. However, the Premier League champions are still waiting to receive an official bid from Chelsea officials, with City looking for in excess of £50 million for the player.

If/when this deal goes through and Ake returns to Stamford Bridge, it would mark the second transfer between the two clubs, with them having a breakthrough in the Raheem Sterling deal as well.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.

“Ngl, didn’t want him to leave . But if we are getting 45-50 mil for him then it’s somewhat alright . We can replace him with de ligt or Pau Torres (those are the rumoured cb) or maybe somebody else. But at the end of last season , He stepped up when needed and was solid.”
