Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Pep Guardiola’s side are open to the sale of Taylor Harwood-Bellis this summer.
The 20-year-old Stockport-born man has been on the books of the Etihad Stadium since 2008 and has risen up through their academy ranks.
He has been a regular for City’s youth sides over the years and has made eight senior appearances under Guardiola to date.
Stoke City swooped to sign the centre-back in the January transfer window to boost their defensive options. He has since enjoyed plenty of game time with the Potters, making 17 appearances in all competitions.
Harwood-Bellis could cut ties with Manchester City on a permanent when he returns there from Stoke City to potentially embark on a new challenge.
According to Manchester Evening News, the Premier League leaders are hoping to cash-in on the defender at the end of the season.
The report claims that a number of top flight clubs have enquired about signing the 20-year old.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and it attracted plenty of attention from Man City supporters.
