A lot of Manchester City fans have flooded to Twitter to share their thoughts at transfer claim regarding Benfica’s Uruguayan forward Darwin Nunez.
The Uruguay International has been linked with a move away from the Primeira Liga outfit in recent months, with Pep Guardiola’s side linked to the player for a long time.
In 34 games for Benfica this season, Nunez has racked up 27 goals and three assists on his way to becoming one of the top young strikers in world football.
Unsurprisingly, Nunez is now being linked with a big-money move away from Benfica this summer, just two years since arriving from Almeria.
According to Correio da Manhã as relayed by Sport Witness, Manchester City are one of the clubs who have ‘already shown interest’ in Darwin Nunez.
The report claims Benfica shall only accept negotiating the player’s exit for over €80M, with his release clause worth €150M.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters.
