‘Not again’, ‘We’re screwed’, ‘Legit Pool fan’ – Some Man City fans react after hearing who will referee the game against Leeds United

Paul Tierney will be in charge of Manchester City’s upcoming midweek Premier League fixture as the champions take on Leeds United.

The Blues visit Leeds United at Elland Road, knowing that they are potentially six wins away from retaining their English top-flight title.

Ahead of the game, match officials have been confirmed. Paul Tierney has been appointed as the referee.

As an on-field referee, he has taken charge of 16 Leeds United matches during his career and has seen them win seven of them, alongside drawing one and losing eight.

When it comes to City, he has officiated 21 matches as the on-field man, of which they have won 18, drawn one, and lost two. He has never dismissed a City player.
