Some Manchester City fans believe Kevin De Bruyne has been ‘robbed’ as Trent Alexander-Arnold wins the PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.
De Bruyne played an integral role in maintaining Manchester City’s push for their fourth Premier League title in five season’s during January, offering a major contribution in a huge victory over title rivals Chelsea.
During January, Kevin De Bruyne produced one goal and two assists for Manchester City across the Premier League and the opening round of the FA Cup, and his form in front of goal has been recognised by fans of the club.
After enjoying such impressive start to the calendar year, the playmaker was nominated for the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans’ Player of the Month.
However, According to the Professional Footballers’ Association official Twitter handle, Liverpool Star Trent Alexander-Arnold has won PFA Vertu Motors Fans’ Player of the Month award for January.

Trent Alexander-Arnold beat competition from nominees De Bruyne, West Ham’s Jared Bowen, Leeds United’s Jack Harrison, Wolves midfielder Joao Moutinho and Southampton captain James Ward-Prowse.
