Plenty of Manchester City fans have been reacting on social media after Raheem Sterling further climb up the all-time scoring Premier League rankings – above Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and level with Darren Bent.
Sterling fired Manchester City another step closer to the Premier League title with a hat-trick against Norwich City at Carrow Road this afternoon.
Despite not always being a regular this season in Guardiola’s XI, Sterling’s excellent display on Saturday shows just how ruthless the England man can be on his day.
The 27-year-old scored a hat-trick as City beat Norwich 4-0 at Carrow Road on Saturday to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League to 12 points.
The England international opened the scoring with a fine curling effort before netting twice in the final 20 minutes – the first a close-range header and the second a rebound from his own penalty which had been saved.
He becomes the third City player to score a perfect hat-trick in the Premier League, after Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero, who did it twice
The perfect hat-trick also catapults Sterling further up the all-time scoring rankings – above Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and level with Darren Bent.
Man City Fans have been reacting to this Sterling’s ‘incredible’ achievement in the Premier League.
Underated Footballer.

I’m City through & through & I’m very happy for Raheem to be banging the goals for City. Somehow I don’t think this should be a comparison cos Raheem has played all his career in the EPL, while Drogba played in France, England and elsewhere

Is it too early to say that Sterling is top 2 PL wingers of all time? He might even be 1st, there’s not a single attribute that Ronaldo or Hazard have over him, and he has longevity as well. A serious conversation has to be held. https://t.co/iVzTHo1wwV
