‘He had his chance’, ‘Get him off that list’ – Harry Kane update has many Man City fans talking

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays an update on the club’s striker target Harry Kane.

City did all they could to land the 28-year-old striker but Tottenham refused to negotiate, and with no suitable alternative they decided to go into the season with Jack Grealish as their only senior addition.

It was then reported that Pep Guardiola had even personally requested the Etihad hierarchy to negotiate the signing of Kane. As reported by the Mirror, the Premier League chpampions made a £100m offer for Kane that was rejected.

Levy stood firm on his £150million valuation and it might have been too much to ask of City who had spent £100million on Jack Grealish during that time.

As we approach a new summer in a few more months and with City still in the market for a striker, rumours around the England captain’s future is showing no sign of going away.

According to Rob Dawson via ESPN, Harry Kane has, for now, slipped down Manchester City’s list of options at striker ahead of next season.

The report states that Man City will continue to monitor Kane’s situation at Tottenham, but will focus is on challenging Real Madrid and Barcelona for Erling Haaland’s signature if he is available this summer.

Second best : faith in Alvarez and Delap
Third best: strengthen false 9 with Nkunku etc

Only if we aren’t confident or cannot achieve any of these decisions should we go for Kane
But I would personally want to stay with same team if that happens
