Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays another update on AC Milan‘s interested in defender Nathan Ake.
The Holland international has found consistent game time hard to come by since his £40m move from Bournemouth last year, and has gone on to make 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring three goals.
Due to the form of Ruben Dias, Aymeric Laporte and John Stones, Ake finds himself stuck behind in the pecking order.
Sky Sports (h/t Milan Live) earlier this week reported that AC Milan are on the hunt for Simon Kjaer’s replacement and have added Ake to their list of centre-back targets this month.
According to latest report by MilanNews.it (as relayed by City Xtra), the potential transfer of Ake to Milan is proving to be ‘difficult to achieve’, and sources close to Man City have stated that the centre-back will not be leaving the club in the January window.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Many man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.

You think Pep will let our defensive depth and stability go now that we finally have it again? In JANUARY? In such a crucial part of the season? Lmaooooooo

Def don’t give up Aké. That save against Arsenal should keep him a blue for quite a while.

AC Milan is one of my favorite clubs in Europe, but Ake needs to stay because he’s actually been very solid when starting.
