Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club have not yet decided whether to let James McAtee leave on loan this month.
The versatile 19-year-old attacking midfielder, who was born in Salford, has been in Manchester City’s academy for eight years, having first joined the club in 2013.
The City academy graduate, who Pep Guardiola once lauded as ‘exceptional’ as per the Manchester Evening News, is one of the most exciting names coming from the club, with numerous teams said to be interested.
According to Wales Online, the premier league giants are unsure what to do with McAtee this month.
As per the report, Swansea City and AFC Bournemouth are keen on signing the teenager, whilst according to Sky Sports News via the Mirror, Premier League side Southampton also hold an interest in the 19-year-old talent.
The report adds that sources have played down the possibility of a move for James McAtee to Southampton, with discussions over his future likely to happen early next week.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
Keep him please, baldy. I'm on my knees.

Extend his contract then loan him with Delap

Wouldn’t be against a loan. Same with Delap. They’re not playing much in the way of 1st team football like Palmer for example

Why do Man City hate loaning promising talents out to Prem clubs. If Southampton are interested then line it up. Look at Gilmor, Gallagher, Minimino, Willock, RLC. Give them boy more game time

Most important thing is getting a new long term deal signing
