Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is closing in on the signing of Hungarian wonderkid Zalan Vancsa.
The 17-year-old winger caught the eye of scouts with MTK this season. He is classed as one of Hungary’s finest young players, capable of operating as both a striker and a right-winger.
The Premier League leaders have reportedly been tracking Vancsa for a long time and have been huge admirers of the young talent. Despite interest from other clubs, none was as keen as City’s.
According to The Telegraph, City are ‘on the brink’ of signing the Hungarian wonderkid, and potentially making him their first deal of the January window.
Talks with MTK Budapest have been ongoing this month, and City look to have edged out European giants like Bayern Munich and AC Milan for the signature.
It is believed the English champions have reached an agreement with Budapest, meaning their youngster is now set to undergo a medical in Manchester.
It remains to be seen whether he is sent back on loan to Budapest for the remainder of the season when the transfer goes through.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Man City Fans as usual have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
