‘Would be a great move’, ‘Absolute baller’ – Man City Fans react as Club ‘closely monitoring’ Star forward ‘very similar to Gabriel Jesus’

Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report of the club is interest in AC Milan forward Rafael Leao.

It has been a great season for Leao so far, netting five times for the Rossoneri and making a big contribution to their attacking department.

Leao’s performances have not escaped the attention of the top European clubs, but there is no uncertainty on the horizon regarding his future.

Calciomercato last month reported that Pep Guardiola’s side were ‘in the lead’ for the Portuguese forward, with the Italian side ready to ensure they can’t get him.

According to the latest from journalist Rudy Galetti, Manchester City have ‘put Leao in their crosshairs’ as the Premier League champions are ‘closely monitoring’ the growth of the winger, who recently became a Portugal international.

The Journalist adds that the City scouting area have been following the 23-year-old forward ‘for a long time’.

A separate report from Sky Italia, via Calciomercato also confirm City have been watching the player for some time, and are ready to swoop for the AC Milan forward.

The report states that contract renewal negotiations are ongoing, and should the Serie A side fail, then Manchester City are ‘ready to take advantage’ of the situation.

The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra City Xtra, and it attracted plenty of attention from the club’s supporters, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts and opinions.
