Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Bernardo Silva is ‘not thinking’ about leaving the club in January.
The 27-year-old was heavily linked with a summer exit from the Etihad Stadium, however the Portugal international eventually stayed put and has since excelled for Pep Guardiola’s side this campaign.
The Portuguese star has been City’s standout player so far this season and has scored seven goals in 22 appearances in all competitions.
Manchester City are reportedly prepared to almost double the midfielder’s wages in order to keep him at the Etihad, which would see him become one of the club’s highest earners along with Kevin De Bruyne and Raheem Sterling,
Answering questions on a transfer round-up special for the Athletic, Sam Lee was asked about the situations regarding the former Monaco star, and if his stance has changed with regular game time.
As per Lee, Bernardo Silva is not thinking about the idea of leaving Manchester City at the moment and is just focused on having a good season.
