Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid are both interested in signing Pedro Porro.
The 22-year-old – who is yet to make an appearance for the Citizens since arriving from Girona in 2019 – is currently enjoying the second part of his two-year loan spell with Sporting.
Sporting have the option of signing Porro on a permanent deal next year for a paltry sum of €8.5 million, and the Portuguese giants are said to be determined to keep hold of the Spain international.
However, Mundo Deportivo last month reported that there is also genuine interest from Real Madrid, who want to sign a new right-back to compete with Dani Carvajal for a starting spot.
According to a recent report from Portuguese publication O Jogo, as relayed by Sport Witness, Real Madrid will have to battle neighbours and arch-rivals Atletico Madrid for the signing of the Manchester City right-back.
Jt will be interesting to see whether the two La Liga behemoths can convince Sporting to part ways with Porro come summer.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, some Man City fans have been expressing their thoughts and opinions.
We should keep him. There’s an argument that we don’t need a left-back anymore due to Cancelo’s evolution there, and Zinny being more than reliable too. Porro would offer something very different to Walker. https://t.co/fzYhx1aatI

£7m for one of the best full backs in Europe. Another Txiki masterclass

8.5M for a Champions League level young wing back is disgusting lol.

Is this a failed transfer? I get City selling him when we have two of the best right backs in world football. But something feels shady overall but idk what it is. https://t.co/qEhiJeA1eJ
