Manchester City fans have been reacting to a squad update arising from this week’s training footage, which suggests some of Pep Guardiola’s stars will not be available for Wednesday night’s game against Brentford.

The Premier League champions are currently in the middle of an impressive winning run in the English top-flight, spanning a total of nine games and showing no signs of stopping any time soon.

Concerns over the fitness of star players has meant some fans have been wondering whether that run is perhaps on the verge of coming to a half prematurely due to personnel available to Pep Guardiola.

Kyle Walker has missed the last three games for fitness reasons, while John Stones and Rodri were absent for the 6-3 win over Leicester on Boxing Day.

Now, the trio look to have missed training ahead of the clash with Brentford on Wednesday, making them doubts for the clash with Thomas Frank’s side.

Also, Zinchenko and Cancelo, who both played 90 minutes against Leicester and were not substituted, were also absent from the training pictures.

However, It has been stated that both Joao Cancelo and Oleksandr Zinchenko have been declared available for the upcoming Premier League trip to face top-flight newcomers Brentford in the capital on Wednesday night.
