Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Matthijs de Ligt’s situation at Juventus has seen his agent Mino Raiola initiate talks with the club over a possible move.
At the age of 22, the Dutchman is surely one of the best rising defenders in the world. While he is ‘fine’ at Juventus, Raiola has ‘different ideas’ and is pushing for his client to depart.
According to Calciomercato, the player’s notorious agent (Mino Raiola) is unhappy with his client’s situation at Juventus, and has already “threatened” to take de Ligt away from the club by the end of the season if he doesn’t earn more playing time.
The report claims Raiola has allegedly made some contacts with the likes of Manchester City as well as Chelsea and Barcelona, who would all be interested in his services.
But on the other hand, the source admits that an exit is unlikely – at least in the current status of the market as the Dutchman has a release clause set at 150 million euros (£125m), and the Bianconeri are not willing to compromise.
However, there are currently no signs of Manchester City, Barcelona or Chelsea making a move for the Netherlands international.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

If De Ligt is 150, then Ruben Dias is 300.

Stones and laporte are still young. We don’t need him but if laporte leaves I’ll take him

Would have had him but not now. Not unless Laporte goes.
