According to AD via Voetbalzone , ADO Den Haag are looking for a new buyer and are in desperate need given their financial situation.
However, they may be saved because City Football Group is in talks to buy the club – who have until November 1st to find a new owner, or at least a bank guarantee of €5.1M.
ADO have confirmed they are also in contact with a Japanese group interested in a takeover.
City Group, owned by Sheik Mansour, already owns a number of clubs. Manchester City is the most well-known club, but New York City FC, Melbourne City FC, Yokohama F. Marinos, Montevideo City Torque, Girona, Sichuan Jiuniu, Mumbai City FC, Lommel SK, and Troyes.
The most recent purchase was French club Troyes last year when they were in Ligue 2. Following the investment, Troyes won promotion to Ligue 1 for this season.
