Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is set to allow Kayky to train with the first team to see how much he impresses.
The premier league champions in April agreed a deal with Fluminense to sign the 18-year-old forward nicknamed the ‘next Neymar’ and the youngster signed a five-year contract with City who successfully fended off the competition for his signature.
Most youngsters City sign are immediately sent out on loan to play clubs in the City Football Group [CFG] network, but there’s a chance Kayky could be integrated into the club’s Under-23 squad which clinched the Premier League 2 title last campaign.
Even though the agreement between Fluminense and the Premier League side was for a January move, the winger has now rescinded his contract with the Brazilian club and will soon be on his way to England.
According to Sam Lee from the Athletic, Upon arrival, Kayky will train with the first team and if he impresses, it is possible that he would skip academy matches altogether.
However, the report add that depends entirely on how he settles in his new surroundings and how many first-team opportunities arise.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

Seriously doubt he’ll do so well as to skip u23’s but that should be encouraging, he’ll at least feel he got a chance and that City have some faith in him.
