A lot of Manchester City supporters have been reacting on social media to leaked details of the club’s Street Soccer’ shirt.
Puma have already released City’s three match kits for this season, with a scoreboard design on the home shirt inspired by Sergio Aguero’s iconic ’93:20′ goal ten years on from the 2011/12 title-winning season.
The all-white away kit has proven popular with fans, but the third kit has divided opinion as it has replaced the club badge with the words ‘Man City’ in bold.
Now, though, Puma seem to be releasing a special ‘street soccer’ kit that is likely to prove far more popular among fans, with the full design now ‘leaked’ online.
According to Ofoball, via Footyheadlines, the new kit – which will be part of a ‘lifestyle range and not be worn by City – will feature a tie-dye design on a traditional sky blue shirt, with navy prints and logos.
The collar, Puma logo and current City badge will be in all navy, as well as the words ‘Street Soccer’ where the sponsors logo would sit.
The new range, with kits also designed for AC Milan and Borussia Dortmund, is said to recall the Puma Street Soccer game for Micorsoft Windows and PlayStation from 1999, hence the 1990s theme.
Here’s what some fans had to say on Twitter about this new Man City ‘street soccer’ kit…
