Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Tottenham would be willing to accept an offer of around £120m, with a further £20m in add-ons, for Harry Kane.
Kane has been heavily linked with a move to the Etihad this summer and speculation around his future has only heightened this week after he failed to appear at Hotspur Way for training with his team-mrates as he had been expected to do.
Spurs are keen to retain his services and have suggested that it would take a British transfer record bid to convince them to sell their star striker to the Etihad Stadium.
According to Daily Star, Tottenham would consider a Man City offer of £120M for Harry Kane – if Pep Guardiola’s side commit to at least another £20M in add-ons based on winning the Champions league and premier league plus an additional bonus if he breaks Alan Shearer’s goal scoring record.
City’s lack of a natural goal-scoring striker in the absence of the recently departed Sergio Aguero could force the club to break the British transfer record twice in one summer, after splashing £100 million on Jack Grealish this week.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
