Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the have offered Cristiano Ronaldo a two-year contract worth €14-15M net per season.
Ronaldo has been heavily linked with leaving Juventus during the ongoing summer transfer window and his agent Jorge Mendes has been assessing his client’s options.
Manchester City have been floated as a possible destination, reinforced by the Citizens missing out on Harry Kane.
Italian outlet report that Jorge Mendes, the agent of Ronaldo, is now in Turin, though there is no meeting scheduled with Juventus yet and a formal offer has not been presented to the Italian giants.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Pep Guardiola’s side are willing to offer a two-year contract worth €15m per season, which would equate to over £245,000-a-week (£246,715-a-week per current exchange rates).
The Journalist however states that Ronaldo has to decide what he wants to do, while Man City currently do not want to pay Juventus any fee.
