Pep Guardiola has responded to talk that Manchester City are in the market to sign Harry Kane this summer.
The Manchester City boss has admitted that the Premier League champions are interested in signing Harry Kane.
Kane has been linked with a move away from Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer, with the England captain admitting that he wants to move on to win trophies.
And speculation around his future has only heightened this week after he failed to appear at Hotspur Way for training with his team-mates as he had been expected to do.
Tottenham have been determined not to sell to a Premier League rival, but Guardiola has revealed his team will try to snatch Kane away from the north Londoners.
“He’s a Tottenham player and if Tottenham don’t want to negotiate then it’s finished. Not just Manchester City, there are other clubs who want to sign him. We’re not an exception. Jack had a release clause but Kane is different. Of course we’re interested,” he said.
“If they don’t want to negotiate then he’s a Tottenham player. If they want to negotiate, then we will try.”
These Guardiola’s comment has prompt Plenty of Sky Blues to react on social media.

If Spurs don’t want to negotiate then you sign Messi.

Pep NEVER mentions a player we’re not close to getting, he simply dismisses saying that they play for another club, it’s happening🤩🤩🤩
