Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims Harry Kane is believed to be ‘unhappy’ at the prospect of facing the club on Sunday.
Tottenham may start Harry Kane in their Premier League opener against Manchester City this weekend, even though he has just returned to first-team training.
The striker wants to leave Spurs and delayed his return for preseason.
His action has been seen in some quarters as an attempt to force through a transfer to City.
Spurs remain keen to keep hold of him and have decided to play hardball over his potential departure.
They face Pep Guardiola’s team in their Premier League game and it is a game that Kane was touted to sit out.
However, Tottenham’s manager Nuno Espírito Santo has opened the door for him to be a part of it by saying players who are currently training at the club all have the chance to play.
Nuno said as quoted by The Daily Mail: ‘All the players who work on a daily basis will be options for us, then it’s up to us to decide.’
According to The Sun, Harry Kane is believed to be ‘unhappy’ at the prospect of facing Man City on Sunday, as he was hoping to be left out of the match, after telling Spurs he wants to leave.
Kane is training alone now as he needs to self-isolate until Thursday and he will have three days training with the rest of the squad before the match. That might be enough for him to feature in the game.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.

This is called going through the motions, he’s signing after the Spurs game. Clearly they cannot announce it before as there would be a riot on Sunday.
