Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims Gabriel Jesus has been told he is staying in the team despite interest from Juventus.
The Brazilian is at the top of Juventus’ list of striker targets this summer, with Calciomercato. It reporting that the Old Lady want to take the Brazilian on an initial loan.
The links with Jesus come amid speculation that City are looking to upgrade their attack ahead of next season by bringing in Jack Grealish and Harry Kane from Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Jesus is one player who could be forced to leave City this summer if the club need to generate funds for the potential signing of Harry Kane, who has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League champions.
Juventus needs a new striker and they have been linked with moves for several attackers ahead of the new campaign.
They have already secured the permanent arrival of Alvaro Morata already this summer, but the Old Lady may need to bolster their attack further.
According to Martin Blackburn for The Sun, Gabriel Jesus has been told he is staying at Man City, for now at least, despite Juventus interest.
The report claimed Kane is set to join City from Spurs and will cost £160 million in transfer fees for the Premier League champions, who will pay the England international striker £400,000 per week as salary.
The report added that City’s Brazil international striker Jesus ‘could be a replacement at Spurs’.
The report was shared on Twitter by City Xtra and City Chief, and it attracted plenty of attention from the fans, who took to the social media platform to share their thoughts on the speculation.
He best pull his tripes out and improve otherwise he’ll be on the bench.
