Manchester City fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter which relays a report that claims the club is interested in signing Chelsea full-back Reece James.
After making his first-team breakthrough in September 2019, James’ stock has risen, culminating in his superb performance against City in the Champions League final.
He has made 84 appearances in total over the last two seasons, and his impressive form has caught the eye of the reigning champions.
According to a surprise report published by The Athletic, Man City have added Chelsea right-back Reece James to their wishlist of players they would like to sign.

The report adds that Chelsea’s interest in Inter Milan’s Achraf Hakimi has given Man City encouragement over signing James.
