Some Man City fans want Barcelona forward signed, after his comments about Mahrez

Barcelona star Ousmane Dembele was full of praises for Algerian and Manchester City forward, Riyad Mahrez.

The 30-years-old winger has been sensational for City this season under Pep Guardiola, as the Etihad club close in on their third Premier League title in just four seasons.

Mahrez put up a special performance against PSG in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League’s Semi-Finals. He topped his inch-perfect performance with a goal from a free kick in the 80th minute, giving City a huge advantage over the Parisians.

Speaking to Bein Sports, Ousmane Dembele revealed his admiration for Manchester City’s Algerian international winger,

“I like to watch the matches of Mahrez, Leroy Sané. Mahrez likes the sole, and every time I watch City games, it’s amazing. Even with Algeria, it is incredible. When it comes one against you … It’s difficult,” said the French winger.

Dembele, who made a big money move to Barcelona from Borussia Dortmund in 2017, has failed to really live up to the high expectations despite having some excellent displays when he just joined the La Liga club.

The 23 year-old Frenchman clearly has enormous talent but seems to have lose his place in the first XI after stellar performances from Antoine Griezmann.

Dembele’s comments on Mahrez have got some Man City fans talking, who took to the social media to express yours thoughts and opinions, with some even suggesting that City should offer a swap involving Sterling.
