Manchester City Fans have been reacting to a post on Twitter, which relays a report that claims the club is set to sign another Brazilian starlet Metinho from Fluminense in the same deal as Kayky.
City announced the signing of 17-year-old Brazilian forward Kayky from Fluminense earlier on Friday afternoon.
“We are delighted to confirm we have reached an agreement with Fluminese regarding the future transfer of Kayky. The teenage forward will remain with Fluminese until the end of the Brazilian season,” the club wrote via an official statement on the club’s Twitter page.
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, City are also set to sign Metinho (17) from Fluminense in the same deal as Kayky, after an agreement was reached over an initial fee of €5 million plus add-ons.
Fabrizio claims that Metinho will sign a five-year contract with the City Football Group before joining Troyes AC on loan – with the French club coming under the CFG umbrella.
The deal for Metinho is just the latest of several City recruits from South America, following the likes of Kayky, Yan Couto, Kluiverth Aguilar, and Diego Rosa in making the switch to Manchester or the City Football Group.
In reaction to the report shared on Twitter by City Xtra, Many Man City fans have expressed their thoughts and opinions.
